Easter

We spent Easter in Ft. Worth with Great-grandma and grandpa Clark, Great-aunt Charlotte, Jana, Greg, and Dad. Mom was in Hobbs with Aunt Kara, but bought Jackson a cute Easter outfit. He enjoyed his day with the Clark family!

My new favorite thing...

The Moby Wrap is wonderful. Jackson gets to stay close to my heart and I have two free hands. I would say that it is about 7 yards of fabric, so you have to learn how to wrap it properly, but it is really neat. Zac is also really enjoying his BabyBjorn!

Foot prints

This is a picture of Beverly getting Jackson's feet ready for the wall of footprints at the Birth & Women's Center.

Uncle Dan, Carolina and Jackson!

His Uncle Dan came to visit him a couple of weeks ago, along with his girlfriend, Carolina (we love her!). Here are some pictures of them with Jackson:

Welcome home baby Jackson!

Well, it has been over a month since our little angel was born. Jackson weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches long on his birthday, February 22nd. Now, one month later, Jackson weighs 10 lbs. 10 oz. and is 23 inches long. He is a happy and healthy little boy. :) Here is Jackson as a 1 month old baby with his handsome daddy:

Over due...

Well, we are officially over due now. It has been difficult to remain positive, especially because my back has been really hurting and I am just tired of being pregnant. I am trying my best to stay entertained and have positive thoughts! I did not work this whole week, thinking that Jackson would arrive at any moment. I am still exercising and remaining active.

We saw one of the midwives yesterday and she said, "Oh, this is great! You are 1cm dilated and about 70-80% effaced." I said, "No, that is not great. I have been at the same stage for over 2 weeks now." Then she looked at the chart and realized that nothing had changed. (I see different midwives when I go in, it all depends on the day of the week, so I had not seen her in about a month.) She performed a minor stripping of the membranes to help get things going and suggested all of the techniques we have been trying- spicy food, acupressure, etc. She thinks Jackson is definitely up to 8 lbs. now and will arrive on his own this weekend. I am not going to get my hopes up, but we do have an appointment scheduled with her on Monday morning to start more intense natural induction techniques if he does not arrive this weekend. She claims that they work 9 out of 10 times and that we should bring our bags with us. We will see.
